Nominate Yourself for the Joe Curley Rising Leader Award

The Joe Curley Rising Leader Award is intended to identify and honor up-and-coming individual FPRA members for their personal dedication, and demonstration of emerging leadership traits along with dedicated active involvement in FPRA Chapter activities, programs, functions and events.

The honor includes a $500 cash award and a $500 FPRA state credit that the winner can use at his or her discretion for state professional development seminars, workshops or Annual Conference (and for costs associated with conference).

PLEASE NOTE – This is a self-nominated process. Download Joe Curley Rising Leader Award Nomination Form 2012.

Interested chapter members must be a current member of the Chapter and a member of FPRA for a minimum of two years prior to nomination.

Nominees must complete the nomination form and submit it, along with an updated resume and a professional head shot, to Capital Chapter President Amanda Fliger, APR, at President@fpra-capital.org by June 20, 2012.

Nominations should detail the role(s) the individual has played in serving our local chapter on committees, developing programs, handling activities, serving as a local board member, etc.

The Capital Chapter Board of Directors will review all nominations received and select one representative from the nominations as our “Rising Leader Honoree” for that year.  This lucky individual will be recognized statewide as a member of the “FPRA Class of 2012 Rising Leaders,” and will be in the final running for the award.
