“Inside the Winner’s Circle: Tallahassee’s Best Public Relations Talent”

The Image Awards competition is conducted annually by the Florida Public Relations Association to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in our state. This year, the Capital Chapter received over 50 entries that highlighted the very best in public relations that Tallahassee has to offer!

To honor our winners, the Local Image Awards ceremony will be on March 31, 2010 at the Los Robles Women’s Club. Join us for an evening where Southern hospitality and charm will abound as we celebrate our public relations professionals Kentucky Derby-style!

Tickets may be purchased in advance by emailing imageawardscapitalchapter@gmail.com or at the door. If purchased before March 19, tickets are each worth a raffle ticket that could win a gift basket at the ceremony!

Tickets are $30 for FPRA members, $35 for non-members, and $15 for students. If you RSVP and do not attend, you will be billed for the cost of your tickets.

The Image Awards have become a standard of public relations excellence in the state of Florida. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. The awards competition includes four divisions of categories: Public Relations Programs, Printed Tools of Public Relations, Audio/Visual Tools of Public Relations and Student Projects in Public Relations.

AWARDS PRESENTED

• Award of Distinction – presented to all entries that meet the standards of excellence set by a panel of judges.
• Image Award – may be presented to the top-scoring entry in each category if the entry meets predetermined criteria of excellence set by the judges.
• Judges’ Award – presented by judges for an outstanding entry that achieves maximum results while using a minimum amount of money.
• Grand Image Award – presented to the best Image Award-winning entry in Divisions B-D.
• Grand All Image Award – presented to the best Image Award-winning entry in Division A.
